Cassie wanted a big, beautiful, black diamond as the centerpiece for her engagement ring. Ray and I decided to flank it with two emerald-cut white diamonds for a modern take on a classic three stone engagement ring. Black diamond engagement rings are always edgy and unique, and this one is no exception!

Briana asked me to create a swirly, calligraphy-inspired pendant necklace to celebrate the birth of her first child. I crafted this undulating charm pendant in sterling silver, and it has the perfect size and weight to it for everyday wear.

I created this 14kt white gold pendant in a geometric Art Deco-inspired style. We added Michelle's heirloom diamond in a simple bezel at the bottom, and I designed this necklace so her engagement and wedding rings could be worn on the necklace whenever she didn't want to wear them on her hand.

I've been watching other makers do the 100 Day Project for the last several years, and this year I'm finally committing to the project. The creators of the project recommend approaching it with a mindset of either play, practice, or produce, so I'm doing play/practice with engraving for #the100dayproject. I'm using dice to choose what to engrave every day, and that will make the project more playful and take some planning pressure off me.
