My brother Ben asked me to create a custom engagement ring for his girlfriend, Meg. He had a few images of vintage-inspired rings that Meg mentioned she was interested in. Does your ring spin on your finger, but barely fit over your knuckles? How can you fix this? An easy and fairly permanent option is to add sizing beads to the inside of your ring. Sizing beads add a little more surface area for your ring to grip your finger, but they slip easily past your knuckles.   Having trouble with a spinning ring? My newest design is the Protea Marquise Earrings. They're small, lightweight marquise-shaped earrings with a raised pattern based on the sharp leaves and ribbed anthers of a King Protea flower. Dark oxidation in the recessed areas helps highlight all of these minute details.

This week, I've been preparing for the Navona Handmade photo shoot for our fourth collection, the Mid-Century Modern Collection. What's Navona Handmade, you might ask? It's a small business I started with two other female artists. We go on group outings to gather inspiration, then collectively brainstorm color palettes, patterns, and textures that will guide our collection.
