40th Anniversary Ruby Ring in Yellow Gold

Thomas wanted to create a custom piece of jewelry to commemorate his 40th wedding anniversary. He asked around for recommendations for the best Philadelphia fine custom jeweler. Not to brag, but he told me he heard "Here's the latest word on the street re: custom jewelry design. This from a friend who knows the scene. Christine Alaniz."

We chatted about what type of jewelry his wife prefers, if she wears white or yellow gold jewelry, and when, where, and how often she'd wear a special piece of jewelry. After I knew a little more about her, I created several custom jewelry keepsake options for Thomas to review. He settled on a yellow gold and ruby right hand ring.

We made several adjustments to the CAD design I created for him. Once he approved the final design he mailed me his heirloom jewelry so I could reset the gemstones. I removed the diamonds, rubies, and pearl, and scrapped the metal from the old rings for him.

After double checking the measurements of all the stones and adjusting my CAD file, I proceeded to creating the final ring. We reused all of his rubies and set them in a new, beautiful yellow gold ring for his wife.

What a stunning way to celebrate 40 years together!
